The concert series will perform in 32 North American cities beginning with Bethel, NY on July 15th and ending with Toronto, ON on August 30th. San Antonio native Christopher Cross achieved fame during the late 1970s through his yacht rock music and his calming singing style. His most beloved songs "Sailing" and "Ride Like the Wind" and "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" and "Never Be the Same" and "All Right" will bring excitement to his fans. His studio album "Take Me As I Am" released in 2017 but he continues to perform live music.
Cross achieved a historic victory at the 1981 Grammy Awards when he won five awards which included Record of the Year and Song of the Year and Album of the Year and Best New Artist. He won an Academy Award for Best Original Song through his work on "Arthur's Theme" during 1981. Cross achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first musician who won all four major Grammy categories during a single year which only two artists including Adele have accomplished since then.
Detroit-formed The Romantics burst onto the scene in 1977 with their lively power pop and new wave sound.
